Hey everyone!

So I totally didn’t forget my blog was a thing until just known history class but thats besides the point. Anyways, I just started school two weeks ago, and this is my first full week of junior year! I took a break from cakes over the summer because my summer was super busy. I though I would update you on what I have been doing this summer! My summer started off pretty slow, I got a job and went swimming, I tried to make cupcakes when it was 110 degrees and I feel really bad still because the frosting totally melted. But when July hit, my summer took off! I turned 16 and started driving, and then I went to this competition in Orlando! The competition was the International Modeling and Talent Association or IMTA! I competed in acting, modeling, singing, and songwriting. Overall I won 11 metals throughout the 14 competitions that I did! I won 4th runner up for Junior Female Actor Of The Year and 2ed runner up for Songwriter of the year, two overall awards, and then I one first place medal for the TV Beauty competition, two second place medals for the Monologue and On-Camera Host Competitions, and six top ten medals for the Commercial Print, Makeup, Model Spot, Screen-test, TV Real People, and VoiceOver competitions! In the end this was such an amazing experience and I am forever grateful for this opportunity. I met so many amazing people and signed with MMG! I even mentioned my cake shop in one of my competitions, it was like Ms. America where I walked down the runway and they asked me a question that I had to answer, my question that I had to answer was “What is something the judges would not know about you from looking at your pictures” and I said “Something the judges would not know about me by looking at my pictures is that I have a cake business that I have been running since 2016, I opened it in 6th grade” I was so happy I got asked that question! After IMTA I had an extra day and went to Disney World! (The tea cups will forever be my favorite ride) Then After Orlando I got invited to go to Nashville to record some of my original songs! I went to Nashville in the middle of August and it was amazing, I love Nashville so much and it was such a cool experience! I recorded three originals and I am in the process of mixing the songs and they will be out soon on 88.9 The Bridge, my Highschools radio station, and on most streaming services!! I’m so excited! But now after the craziness of my summer has died down, I’m super excited to get back to cakes! If you want to order, just fill out my order form and I will respond as soon as possible :)

Talk to y’all later!

Hello! Happy Monday! I hope you are a good week so far! My week has been pretty boring, we just got back from my grandfathers house were I did a lot of crafts including painting on shoes, creating a Dimond art painting, and building a mimi model DeLorean for my brother out of these tiny metal pieces that you have to fold which has been pretty difficult but its really fun! I have been really into making Macarons lately, I have made Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Oreo Cookies and Cream, and Lemon flavored so far and they are were really good. I am starting to master the Macaron and they are really fun to make. I even got an order to make Macarons for a graduation party! I have a bunch of graduation orders that I am really excited about!

Anyways I should probably start paying attention to my Biology class now,

Bye!

Hey guys its Sadie!

I wanted to start posting on my blog more because my last post was from 2017… Oops!!!

Anyways I am going to start posting more about what’s going on in my life as a teen in covid! I hope to post at least once a week (or when ever I remember). I am currently writing this in my Biology class at the high school because I have finished all my bio work :). I am currently involved in two different plays, The Sky Below at Youth Theater Northwest, and The Playwriting Project at my high school and well as I just finished a third, The Theory Of Relativity at the high school and it will be streaming soon! Obviously the world of theater has completely changed due to covid but I am so grateful that we are still able to do something! We have changed to filming and streaming rather then having a live audience which has been super hard because its so hard to keep energy up when preforming a full play with no audience but its better than nothing. The Sky Below is a super fun play because we are working with a playwright to create a staged reading version although we will be doing a full production of it in the Fall which I am super excited about. The Playwriting Project is also super fun because it is through the drama two class at the high school. Some of the kids in my class have written amazing plays and we get to act in them, it’s super fun! I am currently going to school in person only two days a week which kind of sucks in my opinion because I would rather be in person full time but I know its for the best in this point of covid and I hope we get back into full time soon!

Anyways thats all for now!

See you soon!

8/25/17 I am almost done with my last play of the summer Go Dog Go! it is really fun so I am super sad that the last show is tomorrow. we had 14 shows in total but each show was super fun. right now I am working on 3 cakes, a cowgirl smash cake, a Pikachu cake and popcorn cupcakes. I am super excited to show them to you guys!!! until next time, bye!!
